Inspired Savings

I do believe you have to give in order to receive - that is why a charity of my choice - has always been my way of giving.  To receive just might be - inspired savings.  I mean we all dream of coming into money like winning the Lotto - but that is all up to fate, or karma.

Inspired savings - could be just a simple thing - like renting a video for a week instead of watching paperview movies.  This way you are in more control of what and when you are watching a video - always rent a favourite or buy it - it's still cheaper in the long run than paperviews.  Believe me - those paperviews really add up.  I have never taken videos out from the library but if your into the oldies - why not - it's free!!!!!

If you put 1/2 cup of ice and water in your beverages  - you end up with - less caffeine - less calories - and you don't go through all your bottles of vitamin water or colas so quickly - it might sound silly - but it works for me -just one smart tip on a humid day!

Blogging is free entertainment.  You can really get excited that someone is reading your writing - and it's a free writing class for you as well - just never put too much personal information on a blog - you have to blog smart.

I am still waiting to see if I get that $1.50 in the mail - so even if you monetize your site - you better not give up your day job - unless someone is clicking on all your adds - the money is not going to miraculously come to you.

On another blog - some bloggers - promote products - and they get a percentage - when someone orders it - a good example would be an - ebook.  I am not such a sophisticated blogger to understand this concept just yet - but I am going to do some digging and see what I find out - and share it with my faithful readers.

What is a webmaster? When I find out I will let you know.  I am sure some bloggers are professional bloggers and they go big time with their blogs with VIP Hosting.  When I find out what all that is I will share it with you too.

The only happy thought I have right now is that - on another blog I was reading - the guy knew nothing - really nothing -about blogging - monetized it - and did make his $1.50.  Now he makes enough from his blog - to pay his mortgage - I wish!

The donate button might be a foolish idea - but I will leave it up to the reader - whether or not they want to donate to the writer - after all - time is money.

I heard that Amy Smith - you know the foodie blogger - made tons of money from her donate button - but don't quote me on that.  Ah yes, first the blog, then the book, then the movie - lucky gal!!!!!

Now I will send my blog - out to you - and the Universe!

Spiritual Wisdom re Saving Money

In the Spirit World we are all rich in spirit unless we gave out very bad karma in this life or possibly another life (we not presently aware of). Most of us cannot see our own aura - but it gets brighter and whiter the more good we do in the world.

What we do have in our power is Spiritual Wisdom. Because I believe in self healing, (still take your medication) they work in tandum together - miracles do happen.

Our Spirit Guides (Angels) help direct us. I am writing this blog with spiritual enlightenment.

I have seen a Spirit so I know that I have some psychic awareness. I would call myself an Inspired Spiritual person - so I have inspirational Spiritualism.

Today's spiritual tip for saving money - is always ask your higher power - if you really need to buy that item? Meditate before spending. Seek out that inspirational wisdom that is within yourself.

This article is not about depriving yourself of everything - just put some rational thought to whatever it is your doing - especially when your about to spend those pennies from heaven.

I mean when your get your spiritual house in order - physical, mental, financial, you probably do deserve that holiday - look for the cheap deals. Check out all the travel sites. Phone the toll free numbers of the hotels and see if they have any good offers for you.

Someone I know entered a contest and won a free trip to Vegas with her Mom. Pretty lucky or was it in her Karma to win?

I have been inspired through Meditation that - my writing one day - will pay off.

In a recent dream (lots of money was falling down on me) and I could do so many wonderful things with it - things that would make me happy - things that would make a difference in this world!

Remember always be kind, use your spiritual wisdom - do good deeds.

I believe that sometimes dreams do come true.

Hi Again

My friend said he would hit "friends connect" to see if it's actually working. Maybe he didn't want to hurt my feelings - OMG - just hit the button. Too bad - so far - no one - has used the comments section - it would be great to get some feedback. Another penniless day in the big blogisphere.

I believe in myself so I will keep plugging away. I love to write so that's a good thing. Just knowing people are reading your thoughts - is pretty exciting. Lately, I am feeling pretty lucky so I expect the blog to start getting lots of traffic.

What is blog traffic? Just people hitting on your site - especially people who like to follow you. Ah hmmm you get the hint!

I think I'm already over my head here trying to teach myself and you about blogging. Do they make a book called, Blogging 101 or Blogging for Dummies? If so I should get the book, it might help.

If I could find a product to promote on my blog that would help. Apparently, searching ClickBank is suppose to be very helpful. I guess I will have to snoop around on that site and let you know what I find out.

Well tonight I did 100 push-ups. Too much sitting at a computer is not that good for your health. I also listen to my favourite Donnie and Marie Osmond tape and do my arobics - all free things to do and it's good for you too. I went to the Four Seasons recently to see Donnie and Marie perform when they were in Toronto. Poor Marie had no voice due to allergies so Donnie had to do all the singing. I just love Donnie so it didn't bother me. Marie was great at dancing. Thanks to my son for my VIP seats. Wow, 14 rows from centre stage, it was wonderful.

Oh ya blogging. Well blogging is writing - I have a voice - and your listening. It sure would be helpful if your friends got this too. If anything have a few laughs on me!

Has anyone taken the U of T creative writing course - just wondering how they found it? I took a short 10 week fiction writing course awhile back at Ryerson - the Chang School of Continuing Education. It was quite a lot of work - 10 stories in ten weeks - and critquing 8 students work. I did write a lot of fiction and finished - one novel - but no takers yet! Help Universe. Not sure fiction is right for me. But hey Steven King had a lot of rejection.

Some people save money with coupons - but I'm not a coupon person. But, if Shoppers Drugmart gives out a free gas coupon I usually spend enough to get it. I love Optimum Points and Gas coupons for just shopping. Again, I just buy what I really need - but it can really add up so it helps when you get freebies.

I went a few times with my best friend to a Spirtual Church. It was friendly but I was so surprised after hymms and a healing circle that the Reverand gave out messages to people from his Spirit Guides. Myself, I know that I am inspirationally spiritual but I don't think I was really ready for that. My friend is really into it. Not me, but I do meditate and ask my Angels and the Universe to help me.

Okay, so play fair, be happy, listen to your heart, and help others if you can.

Always Reward Yourself Everyday in some Little Way!

Hi everyone

I checked - not one follower yet - nada - nobody - I'm feeling kind of lonely - come on just push the - darn button! The friends connect button. Oh come on don't you feel better now? Promises, promises. Okay, if I only make a 1.50 this month I won't be surprised. I see that getting you to pay to read my writing is not going to be easy.

Well, I danced for one hour tonight to a music tape - see a freebie. I can give myself a pat on the back for that one.

Another idea to being more frugal - okay cheap - is water down your ice tea and make two glasses out of one - just add the extra ice and water. I do that every day at work so Second Cup only gets me once, not twice. Really, I should not even buy one but you have to reward yourself in some way every single day - or you might as well forget about saving anything - you will get really fed up - and fast!

This weekend I am organizing all of my toiletries and makeup. Yep, this way I am not impulse buying at the drugstore - you know where - Shoppers Drugmart. I do shop smart but I really only want to buy what I need. Listen to that little voice inside asking - do you really, really, need that? Use that Shoppers points card - it will save you hundreds of dollars eventually.

Stop being a hoarder - I don't have that problem - but some people do. Sell what you don't need if you can and right there is a few bucks to add to the cookie jar.

Oh, about paperviews - forget about them - watch movies you own - ones that you love. I must have watched Million Dollar Baby about five times now - but I have other favourites too.

Talking about savings - use a points card - no matter what, unless you absolutely have no self control. Avion points can buy you flights or a trip, I went to Vegas that way - saved me tons of money. No I don't gamble much - but Donnie and Marie were great at the Flamingo and Celine Dion was wonderful at Caesars. I did it all on the cheap believe me!

I try to only go out to the movies on cheap night - Tuesdays! That really helps.
See this is not about giving up everything - just change your ways here and there and see how it all adds up.

I close my eyes at night and wish upon a star that somebody rich out there will buy me a really expensive latte - ya the donation button - come on - your rich - do it!

Okay, if only Bill Gates or the guy from Facebook - what's his name - if they could just give me some advice about blogging - what to do - how to do it - share some of their secret ideas - that would be cool and very welcome. I guess Blogger Girl here will just have to face reality and make the site so interesting - people will just want to keep reading. Maybe some people love .... boring .... and lost at sea.

My friend had a psychic over to her place one night at a small get together and I got a reading for five bucks. That's a cheap reading let me tell you. Anyway, in the reading she told me I would come into a lot of money one day - date and time - unknown of course. She told me lots of other juicy stuff - but that information is too personal to post here - sorry!

I truly believe that many blessings - and I do count them every single day - are coming my way. Do it now, take one big deep breath - in and out - and say "I am releasing all of my troubles to the Universe and I know that the Good Angels will take care of me". There done.

The Trials and Tribulations of Blogging

Hi -- glad you stopped by! Why bother blogging for just pennies? As I said before and I will say it again -- baby steps. This is a work in progress and I am just learning about blogging and maybe your learning something too.

Well I did try to blog -- on another blog -- called Wordpress.org and it wouldn't let me monetize. It refused Adsense right away. So, I felt like I had wasted my time on that. Maybe there is a good reason -- but on this blog -- it was accepted right away.  Oh Adsense -- is the advertisements on the blog.  I know some people might find the adds annoying but -- I was so happy it worked right away.  I mean if I am only going to make a few dollars or maybe a few cents -- better to use a free add service.  After all I told you the purpose of the blog is to try and make some revenue and maybe after a lot of work I will figure everything out. One problem is that -- if people don't poke around the adds - click on them - they are probably a slow and painful way to make money. Hey, I need followers too, that would boost my morale.

I read an article on blogging that was from a Christian blogging site and sure enough he talked about "hosting sites".  Right now -- that all goes right over my head.  But, sure enough on Wordpress.org there was a whole list of them and I take it that they help you with a lot of blog stuff -- but at this penniless stage -- I rather do it slow and figure more things out.

Because this blog is also Spiritual in nature I thought I would share a story with you.  My daughter Lisa died at age 10 from Addison's disease.  She was misdiagnosed.  Yes, it was 25 years ago but my heart will be forever broken.  I told a co-worker whose daughter was very sick -- about Lisa - the darkened pigment -- the vitiligo (white spots) -- the many flu's and viruses -- the doctors kept diagnosing as a skin disorder and flu's and viruses!!!!  Sure Lisa had passed over a good ten years by this time -- but it was like yesterday to me.  Anyway to make a long story short -- her 15 year old daughter did end up having Addison's --and -- got saved -- from Lisa's story!  The odds of that happening were like 1 out of 1 trillion statistically.  A true miracle!  If you know anyone with these types of symptoms you should tell them about Addison's.

I'm practising my blogging as I tell you another amazing story.  A former boss whose occupation I will not mention -- found out where I lived -- after he read what happened to Lisa in the newspaper.  He told me that he had died a few times on the operating table -- and -- that he was taken to a place that he could only describe as being beautiful beyond human words -- and -- that he saw many of his loved ones and they were very real to him -- more real than in this life.  He reassured me that I would be with my daughter -- and he had no doubts whatsoever about that.

One thing that struck me was that he had been taken to a beautiful room that was filled with books from every religion of the Universe.  He told me that you don't speak -- you do -- but telepathically -- which really makes a lot of sense if you think about it.  Everything will become crystal clear, beautiful beyond words, and most importantly the reason were all here is to learn and be full of "love".  That was the big lesson: love!  He even got to meet a beautiful being "God" who had a funny sense of humour.  The warmth and love he felt made him not want to return to his body -- but he was told by a voice -- it was not his time.  I was so grateful for that story!

I was really taken aback by this revelation but it has helped me cope with my daughter having passed over.  Also, being spiritual in nature has helped me to appreciate life.  And, I think like this -- I have to live life to the fullest for my daughter -- after all -- her genes are inside of me -- so every breath  I take is for her.

Now back to my thoughts about blogging.  I was wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with a  donation button?  I mean do they really work?  You create it in your customize paypal account and paste the html stuff into your html box. So maybe someone who thinks heck --  I would like to give the gal a free latte for her story -- they can -- if they really want to.  Just another way to possibly make revenue on your blog.
I will try to post one on the bottom of this story just for a lark.  Down the road I will let you know how and if it all works out.

What is Spiritual Blogging

Hi my name is Gladys and I am a very Spiritual person.  I truly believe that psychic awareness is within every single one of us. In this blog I am going to talk about getting pennies from heaven.

Once I set up this blog I then asked the Universe to seek out many spiritual people for inspiration -- to help me -- and them -- with their personal finances.

I saw a spirit when I was very young and my Mom saw it too -- after that I never doubted that there is life after death.  I then realized there are many angels in the spirit world looking out for us.

By using common cents and my financial advice hopefully you and me will be a lot better off in the months to come.

Have you ever dreamt you won the lotto -- you must believe with your entire being that you will win --you will win one day if it's in your karma. Just buy a 1.50 ticket if that's what won't break your budget.

Becoming more frugal is very spiritual.  As your money situation improves day to day --so does your spiritual aura.  After all you need to get your own house in order and when that happens you will be on the way to helping others.

The problem I am having is that I am a big Shoppers Drugmart shop-aholic.  Yes, I love my cosmetics and not the cheap ones.  So here's my plan -- do all the big purchases on the 20 x the points days and then get the big ticket items on the redemption days.  Now instead of shopping in the drugstore I am here blogging for pennies from heaven.  Well, once I learn how to monetize the blog.

Yes, I am new to blogging for dollars but some people actually make a full time living from it and I am very curious how they are doing it.  I will let you know how -- when I find out.  You can post your comments how you have done with a monetized site.  Also, I would like your comments on how you save a buck or two.

Being frugal doesn't mean you have to go Dumpster diving and become a big time hoarder -- that is not what this is all about.

One frugal idea is to have a no spend day.  A Sunday might be good for this especially if your stuck doing cleaning or things around the house.  Hey, I did not spend one cent today.

Walking, exercising to your favourite tape is free -- you can lose weight and save money.

Because I like to go out with friends my shopping is pretty well -- red meatless -- and when I am with my friends that's when I will add red meat to the equation.

Oh, and about skin cream -- I love Jouviance -- but it's very expensive.  Save this for the face and use all your other creams for your neck, arms, legs, etc.  Then this expensive face cream that is like silk on your face starts being very affordable - just a dab will do ya.

This Spiritual Blogging to get Pennies from Heaven is a work in progress.
